Flying Tomato

As soon as I spotted these ridiculously amazing palazzo pants on Halifax fashion blogger Libby from House of Winchester I needed to hunt them down and find out more. It turns out that the pants are from Flying Tomato and I want them in my life - along with everything else on their website. I also want to embed myself into the dreamy, carefree, bohemian lifestyle portrayed in their lookbook photos below.

Flying Tomato was founded in 2004 in the heart of the fashion district in Los Angeles. In their own words they "design, manufacture and distribute classic and feminine collection not to follow trends, but to set our own by showcasing an entirely new look with vintage inspired feel that our customers have grown to love." And love, I certainly do.

Crazy for Crochet

Crochet has made a comeback and I can't seem to get enough. In addition to crocheted clothing, it's also being used to adorn shoes and accessories. Although crocheted items are available in a variety of colours, I love the simplistic and ethereal bohemian vibe that comes from classic cream.
Toss it on for a day at the beach or doll it up for a night on the town, just made sure keep the rest of your ensemble modern and streamlined to avoid your outfit from being too 70's costume-esque.

Pirate Booty

I recently discovered Jen's Pirate Booty online boutique and I can't stop fawning over all of the dreamy pieces. Collected and curated by buyer-turned-designer Jen Rossi, the collection is self-described as "part gypsy, part bohemian, part pirate...", which in my book means - I'll take one of each please.

In addition to the online boutique, Jen's Pirate Booty is available via several popular retailers such as Free People, Revolve Clothing and Planet Blue just to name a few.

Here are a handful of pieces that I'm currently drooling over:
