Festival Fashion

As music festival season falls upon us, it opens the door to the second most important aspect next to the music - festival fashion. With Coachella acting as the inaugural kick-off event during the past few weeks, there is no shortage of festival street style to admire and inspire. Always seemingly taking a cue from Woodstock, festival fashion generally falls into the category of boho-grunge whereby cut-offs, fringe, crochet, tie-dye, desert boots, body paint and feathers reign supreme. There is an "anything goes" attitude where dress-up is encouraged, governed only by peace, love and music.

Flower Power

As Spring rolls around each year my perennial affection for floral patterns seems to re-bloom (puns intended). Lately I just cannot seem to get enough of the prints in varying sizes and colours - from itsy-bitsy buds to full-blown flower takeovers. Always on the look-out for new design ideas, a recent shoe purchase involving mixed floral prints even inspired some new jewellery designs in the form of floral-print cuffs:
